2004 Outlook
Redshirt freshman Chris LeFlore enters fall camp with hopes of earning playing time in a talented Husker secondary. The Omaha native is listed as a reserve behind two-year returning starter Fabian Washington at left cornerback. LeFlore is the younger brother of Nebraska junior receiver Mark LeFlore. The LeFlore's are one of four brother combinations on the 2004 team, and part of a long-standing tradition of Omaha Central standouts in the Nebraska program.

A walk-on, LeFlore sat out as a redshirt in his first year at Nebraska.
Before Nebraska (Omaha Central HS)
LeFlore starred as a wide receiver and defensive back at Omaha Central High School for Coach Joe McMenamin. LeFlore earned honorable-mention all-state honors from the Omaha World-Herald as a senior, when he had 307 yards receiving, including three touchdowns and made 34 tackles and three interceptions on defense. LeFlore helped the Eagles to the Class A state playoffs each of his three seasons. He also earned one letter in basketball and two in track, where he was part of one of the state's top 4x100-meter relay teams.

The son of Floretta and Mark LeFlore, Sr., Chris was born on Aug. 23, 1985. He has not declared a major.
